Kohler Energy has officially rebranded to Rehlko!
For over 100 years, Kohler Energy has been a forerunner and major name in the reliable energy solutions industry and though their name is changing, they anticipate continuing the legacy of their storied history of innovation. Through the acquisition by Platinum Equity, Kohler Energy is now able to operate as a standalone company, which can enable Kohler Energy (now Rehlko) to place their focus solely on innovative energy solutions that provide power to mission-critical infrastructure, business facilities, and even residences via power generation, energy storage, and renewable energy technologies.
What Could This Mean for the Future of Kohler Products?
Though Kohler Energy has been rebranded to Rehlko, it may not be anything more than a name change and possibly a cosmetic facelift for their future products. At the time of this writing, Rehlko is still advertising Kohler Energy units on their website with Kohler branding that have been available on the market and available for future orders as well. Though this is all speculation, when considering the fact that Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) is now able to solely focus on the energy sector uninhibited, the anticipation is that they will continue to push the boundaries of innovative technologies in the power generation, energy storage, and renewable energy space. From backup power generation, power plants, data centers, or even microgrids, this renewed focus on the energy industry by Rehlko may possibly even lead to even better groundbreaking solutions and technology that can set a new standard in the energy resiliency options.
What About Existing Kohler Energy Products?
While this has not been addressed at the time of writing, there hasn’t been any changes announced about the currently available range of power generation products available by Kohler Energy (now Rehlko) and as we previously stated – Rehlko is still advertising Kohler Energy generators with Kohler branding on their website. Since many Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) generator dealers may be getting brought up to speed with the latest information and policies going forward at this current moment in time, we advise that you contact your Kohler generator dealer for details on what to expect (if anything) and if it will affect you as a customer or the warranty of a Kohler generator that you purchased/plan to purchase.
As a matter of fact – we here at Woodstock Power Company have many Kohler Energy (Rehlko) generators in-stock and available for sale. We have not been informed of any major changes that will affect the customers, the warranty or compromises to the trustworthiness and quality of their power generation products just yet and the warranty for new generators we have in-stock and on order are still covered under their comprehensive 5 year manufacturer warranty.
